The Proserpine Museum and Historical Society has an extensive collection of documents, photographs, cemetery listings and local newspapers (The Proserpine Whitsunday Coast Guardian and The Whitsunday Times) containing information relating to the Proserpine and Whitsunday districts.
The museum welcomes researchers who have arranged an appointment prior to arrival so that a museum member can be on hand to assist in locating relevant documents.
